What attractions are there at Dick Whittington Park?
What better attraction is there than our enormous death slide? If that’s not your thing, how about a whirl down the rainbow slides? Or a bounce on the trampoline? And have you climbed up right to the top yet? The soft play areas are the best place for an obstacle race… the possibilities are endless with the Dick Whittington attractions!
There’s a safe climbing wall lining the play barn, where children can test their skills (mostly horizontally, so no fall hazards here!), and wendy houses and table games available too. Outside, you’ll find picnic tables – you’re more than welcome to bring your own if you prefer, or we can take the hassle out and dish up something crowd-pleasing from the Cat’s Whisker’s cafe while you’re here.
And for the grown ups, a bit of peace and quiet is surely attraction enough 😉
Outdoor Attractions at Dick Whittington Park
During the year, we run all kinds of special events, promotions and activities. Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date with the latest seasonal attractions at the Park!
Dick Whittington Park offers far more than just indoor attractions, we also make the most of our beautiful surroundings. Our lakes are stocked with fish ready for fishermen and we’re currently landscaping nearby to create more scenic picnic areas. We work closely with resident wild swimming groups, and love to see people enjoying the water in the great outdoors.
Nature Walks zig zag paths up to the Hilltop and there are other Nature Trails around the Park, as well as a Country Garden near the house. We also grow a lovely crop of local apples and plums in our orchards, surrounded by bluebells. Our new Stable Block is tennanted, but quite often you can spot ponies and horses there, with goats and sometimes chickens further up the hill.
